By the way I have a '78 CJ-5. No pics of it though.

way to be, asshat

some of the best damn wheelers i know drive XJ Cherokees and Grands.  saying something like that just shows you to be an ignorant fool.

There is a few XJs rolling around here that are plenty deserving of the wave

Alwayt wave at other modded Jeeps. And wave back if waved at by stockers. Most people driving Liberties or stock Wranglers don't have a clue about the Jeep Wave.

I drive a Grand Cherokee.  I picked it because a) it had more storage space (important in a BOV) and b) all the Wranglers were 3 grand more and in worse condition.  I wave if waved at, but since it seems most of you assholes don't count me in the crowd it's not an issue.

And oh yes, my Jeep has been off road, both intentionally and accidentally.

When I'm traveling down less traveled roads in TX, I wave to most people anyways.

I only see that if you are driving a truck with cattle trailer behind you.

Hell YES I wave!  My TJ is stock except for the tires, but it normally looks as pictured below, so I get the wave back.  I also wave at Grands and Cherokees that obviously offroad, as my first two jeeps were grands that I offroaded the shit out of.  I always got the wave in those as well, b/c of the mods (bumpers, tires, etc).

Wow, three pages in, and only one other MB/GPW owner. I would have figured lots of  people here would have one. Anyway, when I'm out in traffic with  my '44 MB, I see people all around me staring at my combat-loaded Jeep. When I use hand signals for turning, everyone thinks I am waving at them!

Let me try posting a pic of mine. The old gentleman in it is a WW2 Navy photograper. Having a WW2 jeep at a car show makes you a magnet for vets of all ages, who stop by and tell you interesting stories about their experiences with jeeps.

My wife and I have a '01 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Edition, and we generally wave to other Jeep owners. Sometimes I don't feel like waving, but wave back if someone waves at me.
