What does Superman wear when he is just laying around the house, watching TV, maybe sipping a brew and trying to forget all the morons he had to save after they fell out of a 40-story window?
In his work as a Daily Planet reporter, he nearly always wears a suit. I guess it is hard to hide the cape under t-shirts and stuff. I can't see him wearing that while watching the football game.
I imagine that Lois told him that wearing those leotards around the house gets to be a little faggy. Still, he has to be ready to go at a moment's notice.
Suppose he is just taking a weekend off. How does he hide the cape under a polo shirt when he goes to the beach? He couldn't wear shorts, because then he would have to roll up his uniform legs up to his thighs -- and what do you do with those boots at the beach? I would have to guess that he never goes swimming, because he would have to take his glasses off and people would instantly recognize him without his glasses.
Furthermore, what does he do with his street clothes when he changes into his work uniform? Would you just find them laying at the bottom of the phone booth until he got back? Does that mean he has to dry clean his suit every time he switches back? How come nobody ever steals his wallet when they find his clothes?
Did he maybe stuff them in some secret pocket in his uniform? If so, why don't you ever see a bulge? If he stuffed them in a pocket, then why aren't they wrinkled when he puts them back on?
If you can't explain this, then don't tell me that you know what is going on in Washington.
