Thermite my ass.

There would have been a lot of sparks being thrown,
and the reaction would have been so insanely bright it would have
blinded the camera.

Also, do you really need thermite to ignite the black powder charge of a model rocket engine?

Finally, what the hell was that white powder?
Absolutely not needed, whatever it was.
