9mm rimfire shotgun, 7mm pinfire revolver.

.505 Gibbs. Not mine, I am not that crazy. My shoulder hurts just thinking about it.
.22 earsplittenloudenboomer - 4200 fps out of a 55 gr. nosler bt.
Yesterday I was handling a Phrench 8mm Lebel rifle cartridge. And a couple of ~40mm WWl German shells. Gunsmith buddy of mine had some old lady give him a bunch of that era stuff her husband had laying around.
At least people have heard of it. Try buying 7.62x25 Tokarev or 7.62x39R Nagant at WallyWorld........or even a normal gunshop. |
Ask the local gun counter guy for .32-20. If I MEANT .32ACP, I would have SAID .32ACP. |
for the intermediate powered Nagant? |
You should try .700 NE... LOL Oh noes!!!1!1!!!! |
+1 on that. It gets very tiresome explaining that 7.62x39 won't work in my 7.62x54R Mosin, nor will 7.62NATO...no matter what the gunshop commando "knows" because of his 'nam vet ninja/sniper/GreenBeret/SEAL/secret squirrel experiance. |
Can't afford a rifle to shoot it in |
Nagant gas seal revolver. I have seen it as 7.62x38R also. |
Shit have some one convert a NEF 12 ga over for ya! |
The HK VP70-Z in 9X21mm was pretty weird/cool.
I handled one in a Texas gunstore. |
Would that work and be safe |
Heck, I can buy a GUN for what a box of cartridges of those cost. |
A Japanese Type 14 Nambu in 8mm Nambu...
I'm considering buying a box online (some places still make ammo for it, believe it or not) and giving it a run...but otherwise, it'll just be a wallhanger, really. I'm apparently my father's new outlet for useless junk, now that I have a place for my own... |
My Great uncle has a Winchester Lever Action .307
It's short and accurate as hell. I've used it deer huning a couple of time too. |
Federal, A-Square, Kynoch and WR all load and sell 470 NE as factory loaded ammo. Call Cabelas. |
I own a 7.82 Lazzeroni Warbird. Get 4250 fps with 130 grain bullets and 4050 with 150's.
I have a 505 gibbs ordered. Had a 32 guage Beretta O/U Numerous 2 1/2 inch 12 bore shotguns Have a .470 capstick Have shot 600NE and seen a 700NE Have seen a pair of 4 bore Rhodas. (23lbs each) Still have a 6mm PPC 7 BR 25-20 win 45-120 |
I had a 5.7 MMJ M1 Carbine. Still have a 221 Fireball.
Seen several odd caliber gun, some old French 1873 revolver, a S&W in 455 Eley. Had a guy bring over a 16g/ 5.6x56/9.3x74R drilling. |
Has-been? : .41 Rimfire (old Remington derringer - family heirloom)
Never-was? : 9mm Federal (a rimmed, revolver version of 9mmP from the '80s that never quite caught on - impulse purchase I regret ) |
.45-120 isn't that unusual. At least people have heard of it.
My dad has an original Sharps rifle in .50-120 on lay away. |
Oddest one I ever fired was a 7mm STW.
Strangest I ever encountered was a 25-30carbine. Someone went to all the trouble of necking down 30 carbine cases to 25 caliber then didn't bother picking up their brass. |
Is anyone still trying to rationalize what a great round it is? |
My dad has one of those. Scary accurate ,3 shots coverd by a dime at 100 yds with factory ammo! No lie. |
I have a Vetterli. It's a .41 caliber rimfire round. Known as the .41 Swiss.
A guy had a .97 caliber custom made rifle. He said that it fired a 3,000 grain bullet, not kidding |
last time i saw 700 NE they wanted 200 dollers a box for 20 rounds! |

Seems to be a popular subject these days. www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=425647 |

.310 Martini Cadet.
Took me over a month to scrounge the stuff up to get it shooting. Shoots pretty good, too. I'd bet most guys here wouldn't know one if it hit them on the head. |
where do you get ammo for it? At least for my Cadet, I found the components to grow my own. |
Thats how much one round is now or more, 470NE is 10 bucks a round for 510 grain. |

I assume yours doesn't have a bent barrel? |
