I liked mine too, but traded for a Glock 22 (.40) W/2 15 rounders. Still have the 19 as a bigger rocket...handful of those long 30+ mags too. (The reason I dumped the Uzi pistol)

Mine is the G26. Some people will berate the 9mm, but loaded with +P it will definitely ruin somebody's day from the business end if need be.
Pretty accurate for it's size too and have a few options to modify it yourself. Am guilty of being a Glockster (only 4 but more to come in the future). |

I have a SIG 239 9mm that I really like, carries well in a coat pocket, BUT to me a true pocket pistol is just that, will fit in a front pocket of your Levis'. The SIG just won't do that. A friend has the Kel-Tec, cant hit anything past 15 yards but it sure does tote fine in any pants pocket you can imagine. Horrible trigger too, but for the cost & size nothing else compares. It's pretty darn reliable, feeds about anything.
Had a Ruger SP-101, but just to heavy. Another choice would be to find a USED Smith & Weasel .38 snub (hammerless). Just don't go buy a new one as they are traitors! |

Had a Kahr MK9 Micro. Liked how it looked at first but upon closer inspection found air bubbled and machine marks. Sent it back to Kahr and after some coercing, they sent me a new receiver. Problem was that the "new" receiver was worse than the first. Some machinist probably got chewed out for his shotty work and took it out on me. The second receiver was actually thicker on the left side than the right. Traded that piece of crap in for a Beretta. Damn Moonies!

A good pocket pistol has to be 4 things. Small,reliable,acurate, and capable of multiple reloads without jamming.To me nothing will ever beat a East German Makorov. The little 95gn bullet is hotter than the 380 and is everything you could ask for.It is built on Walther machinery and has a few vamps that make it more reliably than the 500.00 dollar Walther.
The best thing about it you can buy 2 mak's for that price and ammo is dirt cheap. |

Just an observation...
"Pocket Rocket" is a term made up by the anti's in thier efforts to ban concealable handguns. When we use that term, it helps give legitimacy to the term, and hence in some repects to thier efforts. How about "What is your favorite concealable handgun?" instead. Call things what they are, not what the antis want em to be. |

I carry a North American Arms 22 Mini Revolver. It holds 5 rounds of 22LR, it stainless steel, and lifetime warranted. It fits in my watch pocket of my blue jeans. I happen to be short statured and it is the only pistol that I can pack even when I an wearing cut off jean shorts.
I carry the NAA mini almost all hours of the day, even when I take a nap. My main cc weapon (in addition to the NAA mini) is a Norinco 1911 copy in 45 auto and a Bianchi leather shoulder rig. -JmE- |

My favorite sub-compact sportsartillary is a Ruger SP101. No flame intended, but KelTecs are one of the few guns I wouldn't reccomend to anybody. They are the gun that made me the snob I am today. I had a P11 and it was one of the biggest letdowns of my gunbuying life, and I was once suckered into a Tec9! It rusted, was innaccurate as hell, and had the worst trigger of any gun I ever fired.

I for one carry a [b][i]small, easily concealable handgun[/b][/b] of large capacity and of large caliber.
My pistol of choice is the Glock 27. It is utterly reliable and has more inherrent accuracy than I am capable of taking full advantage of although I do shoot it very, very well. It is light, small, powerful and easy to work with. It eats anything but prefers the 165 gr. JHP load from [url]www.proload.com[/url] I do not beleive in using "anti" terminology when referring to something that I hold so dear: my rights to defend myself and my family and other third party persons who appear to be in emminent danger of serious bodily injury and possibly death............thank you very much! |

I carry a Kahr P9 everywhere I go. Very light weight, and small enough to conceal when wearing just about anything.
"Don't leave home without it!" Very accurate, 9mm, eats anything you feed it, and have not had one jam or misfire in well over 500 rounds. And, although it takes about two minutes to clean, I have let it go for weeks without cleaning with multiple trips to the range- and still not one problem!!! -JLA |

You can conceal it in a Speedo, it weighs nothing, it's easy to shoot (it's a locked breech, not a blowback design), and it holds 8+1 of .32 ACP. My new favorite easily concealable handgun is the P32. 3" at 25 yds is better than my S&W duty gun (no choice in that). Once it get's cooler I'll carry both my 27 or 23 and the P32. The gun you carry when you're not carrying a gun.

CZ 83 - i know 380 isnt ideal...but better than nothing. i believe that the range of good defence ammo in the US for 380 outweighs the little extra ummph that the 9 makarov puts out.
plus its small enough to keep in shorts and tee shirt, accurate as my fullsize beretta (to an extent) and so far, utterly reliable...*knock on wood* just my thoughts |

Two possible answers to your question:
1) When I'm carrying "small" I carry a Walther/Manurhin "PP" in .38. 2) When I'm carrying "Large" I carry an Ed Brown "Commander" in .45. Plenty of excellent other choices out there. Choose something "you" are comfortable with - something in which you have confidence. Probably time to remind myself that we "fight the way we train" - virtually any decent firearm in the hands of a skilled practitioner is going to be alright - any firearm in the hands of the unskilled/untrained/uncomfortable is going to be questionable - at best. Time for me to believe my own B/S and get back to the range ! |

I like my Firestar .40 a lot also. I also like real metal and it ends up being a tad heavy at times. I tend to carry it when I go where I don't feel "safe", somehow i doesn't feel so heavy then.

Glock 27 with Pearce +1 extension. It's hard to beat 10 rounds of 40 S&W in a pistol that fits in the palm of your hand.

Glock 30 or 19. Two fine pistols. Neither of mine have ever malfunctioned. I have tested both with various ammo.

I run around with a Glock 26 loaded up with Dept. Issue Speer 124gr GDHP +P's.

GLOCK 29 10mm compact 10+1 in size that is slightly larger than the Glock 9mm-26/40S&W-27, and S&W640 357Mag. Here are the numbers from an old Glock brochure. Any Glock appoximate MUZZLE energy(foot-pounds)/velocity(feet per second any BBL lenght: 9mm 369/1180, 45ACP 302/820, 40S&W 386/984, the 357 S&W Mag is not in the brochure, but according to a Wincheste ammo brochure, the most powerful in that line up is 557/1180. The 10mm as listed by Glock is 575/1230 .
Some people are going to definitely notice the difference between "cover and concealment." |
