I was just curious.  Do foreign films have good gun porn?

I can name one movie that i have seen that had a G3 in it and it was HEAT!

Are there modern war films about europeans engaging in combat where they carry G3's? FAL's?
FNC's?

its not often that any of us Americans concern ourselves with foreign films.. But i am just wondering if we are missing something.

Hollywood can't be the final word in films. The Europeans have to have a counterpart.

Talvisota, The Winter War is awesome for gun porn if you're into Finnish and Soviet weapons of the late 1930s and early 1940s, soumis, SVT-40s, M39, and 91/30s galore!

Rarely, but once in a while there's a good one.

Isn't "Cross of Iron" a European production?  That's an awesome film, with excellent gun porn.

I want to say the movie Cross of Iron (may have wrong name) was a foreign flick. Good WWII Germans vs Russians. Even if its not a foreign flick still a good movie. Beat by less then a mike.

Believe it or not some Chinese “Gangster” flicks can be extremely violent.

I remember one flick I saw on Satellite where the “Good” bad guy was hiding in a church.  One car after another would drive up, the doors open, some gun-toting “Bad” Bad-guys would jump out, the car would speed off without stopping, and more shooting would start up all over again.

I wish I could remember the name of that flick; I’d recommend it as a Oriental cousin to Heat.

"The Professional" is a gun orgy, but obviously written by someone who doesn't know much about guns.  A long range sniper paintball gun?

The best gun porn from outside the USA that I've seen is in Japanese cartoons. The way those sexually deviant Japs draw their female characters, it is literally gun & porn.

There was a French movie out a couple years ago about a special French gendarme unit transporting some Russian super criminal, who hired some mercenaries to free him.  The convoy's ambushed and the gendarmes with their prisoner have to seek refuge in a huge factory complex and find a way to call reinforcements.

Lots and lots of gun porn, I cannot remember the title, though.

Here it is, The Nest

Laborie is a high-flying officer in the French special forces. Her mission is to escort Abedin Nexhep, a godfather of the Albanian mafia. Charged with heading a wide-reaching prostitution network, this formidable criminal is due to stand trial before a European court. During the transfer, killers hired by Nexhep set up an ambush to free their boss but Laborie and her men manage to escape. After a frantic chase, the officers seek refuge, with their prisoner, in a warehouse located in the heart of an industrial park. There they meet up with a gang that has come to steal computer material. Meanwhile, Nexhep's killers surround the warehouse?

Yes, but stay away from Japanese porn. We really fucked up the brains of those people when we dropped those two bombs on them.

ETA: Never mind, you said "gun porn." Check out "Hard Boiled."

It was a HK91. It had no paddle mag release and no grenade launching ring.

Check out "Dog Soldiers" for a movie with a HK G3 in it. And a shitload of MP5s and such.
