it's a good price,  It's a 65mm scope with angled eyepiece and includes the 20-40x objective.

How good a scope does Pentax make?  Should I hold out for a 80mm scope?

This is for range use mostly.

Should be adequate, are you going to be using it when during dawn/dusk hours, in that case you could probably use the extra few millimeters of glass, but for just ordinary everyday use, 65mm is more than adequate.  The 80mm lenses are prettty big.

Not bad glass.  IIRC, Pentax scopes are made by Burris.  I'm not positive if the same goes for spotting scopes, but I would imagine so.
