Ariel Sharon might be dead.

Just playing on the whole people saying stuff they have no freaking clue about in the last thread.

It's not looking good. BUT

A couple of papers are reporting his recovery is very unlikely

But a couple are also reporting significant improvement after the emergency surgery.

Things are failing though. It's only a matter of time IMHO, sorry to say.

Edit: Technically "it's only a matter of time" for ALL of us... I mean to say that if he makes it to Spring with any capacity whatsoever (read: not on life support the whole time), I'd be surprised.

I provided my ARFCOM brethren with the scoop that Sharon had suffered a second, massive stroke and that his condition was critical.

Some bozos decided to get the thread locked so they could masturbate about the situation in a thread of their own.

ETA: He will not regain consciousness. His condition is worsening by the hour. He is history.

I dont do polls often but I too read the conflicting news reports. I'm sure i'll get flamed for mak9ing a poll in bad taste. maybe some of our resident medical types will chime in..

Not for long at any rate. And THE Ariel is gone already. My wife works with stroke victims almost everyday as a speech pathologist in a nursing home & we talked about him yesterday. She told me weeks ago when he had his first one that this one was coming soon. Then above and beyond the strokes I expect the multiple invasive surgeries are going to cause complications.

He's done. Even if he were to make it, he has suffered too much brain damage.

He will never see the bombing of Iran

He will have no quality of life. But he will survive for a while. That is my call.

I cannot seem to find my crystal ball right now, but he is no longer a political force in Israel.

He will die.

Everyone does.

that's one thing that's not in conflict, that he has suffered massive brain damage...

he's a legend, i hope olmert can fill his shoes and stay on the road to peace.

Ariel Sharon will assume room temperature within the next day or two.

This will clear the path for Benjamin Netanyahu to return to the position of Prime Minister in the upcoming elections...

Pat Robertson is on his way over there in the blessed G4 to finish him off right now.

In the long run none of us are going to make it.
