CoB is a mix of black metal and power metal.  They're really cool.  I have their album Hatecrew Deathroll and can't recommend it enough.

Machine Head

Them's are the ones taking the most of the rotation on my playlists.

I't kick ass to see Trivium getting some respect.  Those guys are absolutely incredible.  Both of their CD's are in my Car's CD changer.  

Killswitch Engage is another.  Their DVD is pretty cool too.

Iced Earth.  Great Music, Very patriotic as well.

The latest Helloween album is pretty good.  Rabbit don't come easy.  Very Maiden like but a little heavier.  Couple years old now though.

There's lots of good bands out there, you just have to look.

My one problem with lamb of god is the vocalist.  He is an outspoken socialist.  I want to punch him right in the face.  I have some friends  that work for a radio station who have run into him after concerts.  They said he's a complete dick.  And kind of a geek too.  The rest of the bend is pretty cool though.  Good music, just kick the vocalist off the tour bus sometime.

I used to absolutely love Metallica.  Then Load came out.  Alright, the music is a little tamed but the sound is still ok and the songs are still pretty good.  Same with Re-load.  St. Anger came out and I declared it the worst peice of crap I have ever voluntarily listened to.  The sound was awful and the songs all sucked.  I'm sorry, but I would like my money back for that one.

My vote for best Metal Album of all time.  Heartwork from Carcass.  The perfect blend of melody and brutality.
