It depends on the situation. They serve a purpose but I mostly use a square knot with two half-hitches.

I saw them in concert in Virginia Beach. They're an awesome band.
I brought my buddy's youngest brother... it was his first concert... but the mosh pit on the lawn got waaaaaay too out of control (and I'm used to bleeding after concerts) so we left early. |

Someone probably gave it to him. I have a buddy of mine who was with SF over in Afghanistan and he asked for some clothes for some of the locals they were working with. Among other things, I sent him a bunch of shirts from my band. He sent back a picture of him with them and all of these Afghanis wearing band shirts and toting AK's. Very cool.

I listen to them..my little neice and nephew dig them too. I grew up listening to hard, heavy rock...Slayer, Biohazard, Pantera..I encourange them to listen also...better then Eminem and other rap

No problem that somebody likes that excrement...
Usually it is listened to by Jr High boys and girls that are abused at home, like to cut themselves, wear black make-up, and look "goth". My sister teaches these kids on a daily basis and this is their "fan" base. If you think it sounds "badass", or technically challenging.... you need help. I consider it to be noise made for farm animals and mutants. Now, I like Metal. Old School. Not this excrement they play at today. You couldnt tell one band from another if you tried to. Every hahaha "singer" just iron bullfrogs into the mike or screetches like his nuts are in a vice. I am glad you find joy in it. It is just terribly hackneyed garbage. Dram out |

What?  I like their music, but I'll be the first to admit- "Talent" and "Liking" are completely unrelated. I dont LIKE nascar, but I'll admit it may take a little more talent than the average driver has to do that. I dont LIKE rap music, but I've heard some guys I know think up rhymes off the top of their heads, that would put "rappers" to shame. I like Slipknot, but they aren't what I would call a "Technical" or "Talented" band. Stonesour is like Slipknot Lite, just one calorie. More like Corey Taylor's attempt at stealing Nickelback's fan base. |
