What's with all the spelling checkers and grammar correcting?

One of the other threads has more posts about grammar than about the actual topic.

Ok, ok, spelling faggots and grammar douchebags, we get it. You were the little nerd who reminded the teacher to give out homework. Hooray.

Don't be all proud of yourself for correcting little mistakes here and there. The fact that you are eager to do it is not exactly the most impressive character trait in the world.
