I keep getting mail for a homosexual that apparently used to live where I do. 60% of my mail is his, shit I've lived there 6 months already.

I've received numerous mail for gay porn and what not. I tried to tell the mail man that this wasn't my mail and that this jackass doesn't live here. The mailman which barely even spoke English mumbled something like "I don't know...I don't know...how you say uhhh..." I said "fuck it never mind". Now I just throw it away.

Is there some sort of way to stop it without having to talk to the illegal alien mail man?

sadly, you probably need to contact said companies and inform them that their customer moved...

Go to the post office and explain it to them.

Well what really sucks is that I've thrown the shit away, but I usually end up hiding it in some sort of empty box, like an empty 12 pack or something.

Shit, most of my neighbors don't even know my name, but they know my address so they might think I'm the homo wanting gay porn.

I don't think so, because he does get mail that isn't gay porn related also, it looks legit.

Fill out a forward card and put his new address as someone you don't like. That's probably really illegal so I'm just kidding.

Maybe your place used to be a gay porn studio.

First, call the postmaster and explain it. They did some thing for us where we gave them the four or five names that were always showing up at our address for former owners, and they sorted (most of) them out.

Second, for those that do get through or if the postmaster doesn't fix it, go get one of those "make your own stamp" kits from an office supply store. Also buy a fat sharpie or a marks-a-lot marker.

Set up the stamp to say:

RETURN TO SENDER
ADDRESSEE UNKNOWN

Mark out the address/zip code on the envelope, including the light orange barcode that might be on the front or back. Stamp the front of the envelope with the stamp, somewhere near the original address. Circle the stamp with the marker, and draw an arrow pointing to the return address.

We sent back EVERYTHING. It took about six or eight months, but eventually the various companies stopped sending stuff to us. Now, three and a half years after we moved in, we only get something for someone else once every week or two. We just stamp it and toss it in our outgoing mail pile.

Take a black sharpie, circle the name and address and write "not at this address" and put it back in the box and raise the flag. Mail carrier takes it away and it will soon stop. If not it's the carriers problem now......not yours.
