My old computer (a Dell 8100) could not ... not sure about the 8200 but I thought all current Dells used proprietary mobos (and the cases will not accept standard ATX spec cases)?

Nah, I fixed it after I took that pic.  Stupid me, you can still see the (unused) drive rails at the bottom of the case.  Fortunately I went back and fixed the drives ... had to hammer (lightly!) the side of the DVD ROM drive back into place due to my stupidity though.
