Suppressors, SBR's and MG's are NOW LEGAL FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO OWN!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!! |
And hurry the fuck up about it, lucky bastards |
Hell is still pretty warm, and Californians still can't own machine guns.
If that ever changes, I KNOW hell hath frozen over. |
Holy shit WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Good thing I’m wearing dirty underwear. hock.gif
I just moved out of there back to MA.
But I'll be back again. Enjoy it fellas! |
HUH, whaddya know... MI getting looser with its gun laws...? Wow.
Michigan Gov. Granholm(D-Canada) knew better to keep her mouth shut about our shall-issue CCW laws. Let's hope the trend continues on this one.
Yes. I see SBR and SBS in my future. I believe a w00t is in order. |
Hey, I like that! If this is really true, then it's a GREAT step for you guys in Michigan! |
I could not even get out the T when I tried to Woot. I agree that the SBR will be the way to go at first. Heck the price on the M11 has gone up so much they are about out of my price range just like everything else that is NFA. |
I'll have to watch this, it may be time to get my SOT on file with some folks across the border. This would be a good thing.
Never say never.... This came from way off in left field and out of the blue.
It's just speculation, but Attorney General Cox was just in a really big Furball with Geoffery Feiger (Dr. Death's lawyer, and aspiring politician) in which Feiger allegedly tried to blackmail Cox with thru a third party on a charge of adultery. Cox didn't play ball and went public with it. It's an election year, and our carpet-bagging-Canadian-bitch Governess Grandholm would do well to keep her mouth shut about it as she did with CCW's. Cox has an eye on her job. Don't really know much about AG Cox, but if this thing goes thru without any snags we are going to be a free state again. Honestly, I can't believe what I've heard and read. A buddy called me an hour ago to tell me about it, saying that he had seen Class III dealers showing their wares this weekend at a gunshow but didn't understand why they were there. He knows now! Dave |
There is, indeed. And I'm sure it's pretty frozen right about now. They make thermal underwear there, I seem to recall |
Damn it all to hell! Just when I started saving money, you're telling me that I will be able to buy suppressors and SBRs?
Garçon, a suppressor for my P226, chop chop! |
Yes. IIRC it's in Livingston County. Congrats Michiganders! |
A .22 can is the first thing I will be buying... I have a P22, but mostly want it for THIS. Got to shoot it with a .223 can at the ARFCOM WV Survival Forum campout this fall. It was way cool, never thought I'd be able to shoot one of my own guns with a suppressor on it. Dave |
Oh shit,... I just ruined my underpants... just realized that I can have a SBR FN P90!!
So how hard is it going to be to get the CLEO to sign off on a class III weapon in Wayne county?
I think I just pee'd a little. You've got to be kidding. If this is some cruel joke, someone's going to PAY! If not |
Ummm.....SBR's and MG's are legal to own in MA, too.... |
AWSOME WOOT!!!!!
MI suddenly just became more free than OHBetter CCW, no city by city gun laws and class III Im happy for you guys! |
That's pretty funny right there. |
That depends on whether Wayne Co. is liberal or not is it? |
Let's put it this way, if it weren't for Wayne Co., Michigan would have gone for Bush. Wayne Co. is uber liberal and has a lot of folks in it. |
And Wayne is one of the most populous co's in the state? Not to hijack but what's the political makeup of the Sawyer/Berrien County area? I go up there sometimes and are curious. |
Yes, Please! I want a Surefire supressor for my Colt so damn bad. |
how in the hell did this happen , can someone explain? were they anything like the Republic of Khalistan ??????
when i start seeing fun stuff in the local fun store ill believe it.
it figures though, now that im going back to school and unemployed i got no money |
As I understand it, AG Mike Cox overrode/reinterpereted a previous ruling by former AG Frank Kelly. Kelly's ruling was that MI residents could only have verboten type weapons if they were on the C&R list and that the person was a C&R licensee. I don't know the fine points, but a few of our C&R class three types have gone over the 10 pages and it looks solid. As it is said in the linked ARFCOM thread and the links in that thread, ATF will have to be notified (the ruling was just made on the 27th) and a few procedural things gotten out of the way. I don't have any more info other than what is available in the MI Hometown forum I linked, and what Pighelmet related to me about the gunshow he went to this weekend. Dave |

We gotta figure too that Detroit is in Wayne county. |
