I [b]REALLY REALLY[/b] want it.  I'm probably going to move in Dec./Jan. though.  Will I be able to actually get it by then (batf approval)? If so, how much trouble is it to transfer the paperwork to another C3 state? If I move to a non-C3 state, what are my options on keeping the suppressor in NC? Can my brother-in-law keep it for me?

Don't think so friend.  A can is a "flash suppressor" and an evil feature on an AW.  Hence, when dealing with AW's, no can on post ban.
