NOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!

Indian and Pakistani ammo are a BIG NO !

I can not warn you enough.

Sure ,some people haven't had any problems with it besides
it being innaccurate and dirty, but both types of ammo have
been involved in accidents where people were injured.

Accidents where it was determined to be the fault of the ammo.

Quite a few LONG hangfires as well.

I saw a $2,000 M1A get a split receiver from this ammo.

Some were proof rounds ,and many used bad brass that seperated
when discharged.
The bullets didn't make it down the barrel ,but the casings shattered.

Google it ,and you shall find .

I got some of the Indian crap.  And I mean crap.  It was dirt cheap and I did not know any better.

Then I asked here and was told about bad seating, and inconsistant powder charges, double, or no powder at all.

I am still "getting rid" of it.  I check seating of each round I am planning to take to the range, and I give them all the shake test to make sure they have powder in them, and that the tone of the shake is consistant.

They jam all the time.  I know my FAL is going to jam about 2-3 times on a 20 round mag.  but they shoot

Any other ammo, no jams.  The Indian crap is crap.

I wonder if some unscrupulous importer knew just how bad this stuff was-

I have no proof of this, but I can't believe any military would use such bad ammo.

I wonder if this was ammunition rejected and removed from the military stockpiles of India and Pakistan, then some importer decided to buy it up, knowing how bad, and potentially dangerous it was, but make dough off of us in the US.

And just think:  They both make nuclear weapons!

"Hey Sanjay, why didn't it go off??"

"Maybe the polonium trigger wasn't seated right."

Whoa! So they have about a 50\50 chance of blowing themselves up?

There is some rule about not buying ammo from countries without flush toilets.

Bingo. Both the Indian and Paki army have strict QC for thier weapons and ammo. However, they buy a lot of ammo from middlemen who are horribly unscruplous. Never buy recently surplused military goods from either country. Most likely it was from a government order that was rejected due to QC issues.
