Hi, It is an extremely busy weekend here in Amsterdam so I thought I'd let you guys know what's going on here. This is the week of al kinds of activities for gays. Today, we Amsterdamians had to endure the Gaypride Canal Parade, which basically means that a couple of hunderd boats sailed through our canals. All with raving homosexuals on them. See for yourself.....the town was very crowded but at least we had a good laugh this afternoon. And there was an event called 'Dance Valley' yesterday, where 80.000 ravers had one big Houseparty in the open air just outside Amsterdam. I wonder if Kuiper had to work this weekend? Must have been busy for him. The Dancevalley area is part of your district, isn't it Kuiper? Cheers, RG.nl

For a lot of reasons, the Netherlands is a really cool country. Much kudos given to them by me. Glad they are on or side. Their mega-gay constituency is just a byproduct of their quasi-liberal society. Actually, I think that they have the right idea when it comes to sex and drugs, seeing them as a public health problem and not a criminal issue. Personal freedom is obviously valued over there, leaving an individual to only grapple with the health and moral issues. I would be VERY interested in reading some Dutch studies on crime before/after the implementation of their liberal drug policies.
