If its a dupe, I can't find it.

850 round burst out of the latest M60 model. Impressive improvements in barrel metallurgy methinks.

Latest version of the M60

1:45 for 850 rounds?

Army Study Guid M60 specs

How many rounds per minute are fired with the M60 during rapid fire?
200 rounds per minute

And that video was 1:32

Better read a little better "army vet'!!!

What is the maximum rate of fire for the M60?
Approximately 550 rounds per minute

Rapid Fire of 200 rounds per minute would be considered controlled burst keeping the barrel within it's heat and operational limits.

I personally own a M60 E4 upgraded by US Ordnance and it does shoot like a charm. No malfuntions to date and the CDI Factor (Chicks Dig It) is really high!!!! I was hoping to see an after action report from the SEAL teams who have been using it in WOT/OIF to see if it performed postitive or negative in terms of reliability.

A thing of beauty!!!!

Smokin!!

IIRC, one of our Team Members - LongRangeTactical, or HipFiredGun (one of the two) works for a company that builds/and or tests these bad-boys.

I'd take a serious paycut to have that job!

We once test fired an indoor range with 60's. I don't recall the number of rounds we fired, ,but you could not walk on the floor for all of the brass. They had ammo linked up for miles. Way cool for the first hour, then it just started to suck.

That does indeed make the math work out much better.

ok so 550 rnds a minute and total time was 1 minute 32 seconds hmmmmmm cut 550 in half it is 275+550 = 825 that would mean were missing 25 rnds ohhhhhh wait no were not duhhhhhhh that is why there was 2 extra seconds 25 more rnds which then would equal 850 rnds.

the above is for people who cant do simple math.
