M1A?
FAL?
AR-10?

I'm in a terrible jam.  Can't decide.  Life is good.

Z-out!

Grab any one but the M1A.

Leave that somewhere I can find it.

Which do you enjoy most? I have a Fulton Armory M14 I love. Even shot a moose with it once.

M1a if you want a piece of US history.
FAL is you want a piece of battle hardened, superior optics platform performance.
AR10 if you like sending rifles back to manufacturers for FTF, FTE problems.  (two rifles I've owned)

Check this thread

EDIT:  I'd buy the FAL first for two major reasons:
1) Mag cost
2) Less expensive rifle

Tough call.  The M1A is really accurate, fun to shoot, and I get the most comments with it at the range.

Bragging rights rule!!  My favorite is the M1A.

All this shows is that you're in need to a HK G3 clone.

I musta got lucky.  The Armalite AR-10 rifle you see in the pic has hundreds, if not thousands, of rounds through it.  I have had, maybe, uhh, two or three failures... all due to the mil surp ammo I was using.
I would definately stake my life on the reliability of my AR-10.

Mag Cost... Definately: M-14 Mags, uhh. Around $35 for USGI
AR-10 Mags, about $30-40 for the Armalite 20 rounders.

BUT. Cost of Rifles for me is about the same:
M1A About $1100
AR-10 About $1150
DSA FAL About $1100

I can't remember the exact prices, but these are really close to what I paid here in S. Florida.

Z-Out.

ar10 or the FAL

easier to fix a armalite problem than a non USGI problem
