3 family house, single mom with a couple of pre-teen boys living in the apartment next to me. Hopefully the novelty will wear off in a few days or their mom will realize the big mistake she made and donate the implement to the locall Goodwill center.

Bongos are nice but a snare drum and a couple of sticks would be much louder.

I'm currently listening to one nephew play on his drumset downstairs at my place. The other newphew got an electronic drum set. It keeps the kids occupied. I don't have any problem with them. At least you know where the kids are.
