I fired mine during a shoot last spring, after I broke my left arm. One handed, the 500 is a, shall we say, memorable experience. It'll definitely bring out the testicle in you. Or shake them off of you. Whole lotta fun, though!

I'll buy one when they start selling a 2" snubby. I'll never test fire it but carry it as a CCW.  If you need it in an emergency situation it wont matter that it hurts like hell to fire the damed thing, The guy on the receiving end will hurt much more LOL |

I shot 24 rounds through a 4incher a few weeks ago. I find it is about the same as a pistol grip 12 guage with a heavy load. Sure it recoils hard but there is nothing mythical about it.
