I just got out of work 2 hours late, so I thought I would chime in with some holiday cheer. All day I worked at a grocery store where the singular intention of thousands of people was to make purchases for their holiday celebrations.
These people, pushing, shoving, and acting generally like animals, have forgotten the real meaning of holidays is not about stress or buying power, but to relax and take a little time to indulge in the joys of life.
I enjoy spending time on the boards, and though I don't post much, have learned alot and had quite a few laughs. I want to say thanks for that. I know everyone comes from all over the country and world, are of all ages, and have many differences in life. I can appreciate that people can come together and argue about 9mm vs 45, .308 vs .223, glock vs. 1911, and in the end come to the conclusion to "get both".
I can also appreciate how in times of need, people pull together and do what they can to help out.
So, ARFCOM, have a merry christmas. Cheers.
