Now is the perfect opportunity for an Eddie Eagle style learning session about gun safety. Best to satisfy the curiosity in an environment you control, rather than while he is at a friend's house goofing around with the friend's dad's unsecured guns.

Not mine, but I have the same pistol (but with Gunner's Grips). I'd post a picture of my AR, but it has no handguards at the moment (waiting on my new rail to come in).

My daughter could name nearly every part of my AR-10 over .75" in size when she was 4. She is 8 and has almost completed her own AR-15. All my kids dropped a hammer by age 2.

uh, respectfully, ... (granted, you're a college student)....

Screw the pics.

How 'bout let him play with the 3 or 4 rifles Uncle Orion bought him for Christmas.

A pawn-shop-'speciul' stock would be good for teething as well.

Oh he's already gotten camo shirts and the like from me.  One year I gave him a grasslands camo shirt.  His house is surounded by a field of tall grass.  I can just imagine him wondering off into it and momy and Dady not being able to see him.
