I use it all the time and had a tinfoil moment do they harvest info on what is being spell checked and where?
I would assume they would for marketing purposes and such

It installs a key logger.
The only way to remove it, is to wipe your drive.

really? So what about passwords and secure websites?
Do the other toolbars Ebay Yahoo etc do the same ?
Im always kinda paranoid about such things as i know just enough about computers to realise what can be done under the guise of another prograhm

I used to use google toolbar and it worked and didnt install any key logger. Dont know where you all are getting this from.

I hear David Koresh was spell-checking 'Destroy the armies of Babylon' via Google Toolbar, and that is how the ATF found him.
