No,, but croutons are considered cluster munitions. |

Well my moms pissed off, but i got a loaf of bread with a 380 size hole through it. Also a sub roll same thing. Bread is not body armor.

Sounds like he was saying the shooting equivalent of "you couldn't punch your way out of a wet paper bag..."

With or without luncheon meat? |

I haven't been layering on tortillas all these years for no reason.

I was waiting for someone to say this. Funny. |

By any chance were you in the 1st at Ft. Riley then? I was there, same time frame. Steven |

Nope.. Wildflecken Germany. |

It's a known fact that a 9 mm fired from a Glock will not pass thru a loaf of bread. On the other hand any round fired by a handgun designed by MB will penetrate several tons of bread and kill three bad guys on the other side.

pistol round, NO
rifle round, YES Bunny bread stays fresher longer |
Unleavened bread is some of the strongest material on Earth.
Hmmm. I'm going to bring couple load of bread and use them as bullet stopper. |
It is slightly less well known that Jesus often called upon Teh Chuck! to roundhouse kick the bread, thus breaking it and also kicking all of the leavening out of it for passover. Teh Chuck! referred to Jesus as "the only Guy tougher than me" and he admitted to 3rd century Christians that while both he and Christ could turn water into wine, Jesus' wine was "a much more pleasant vintage" than his own. |

Clearly the word is spreading, because I just saw an Iraqi insurgent running around on CNN toting a large loaf of French bread!!!
The darn froggies are in on it!!! |
Well, according to the ISIOTISRM (I Saw It On The Internet Somewhere Rumor Mill), if you shoot a loaf of bread in one end, with a hollowpoint bullet, it will not penetrate through to the other end. If the bread it cut, it will travel even less distance as the slices act as baffles and slow down the travel even more after the hollowpoint is filled with bread and the consistency of the bread allows for rapid deceleration. THE BREAD MUST BE FRESH. stale bread will just shatter into chunks. Hence the reason that body harmor is not made of bread, you'd be changing it every other day.

What, are you stupid? You have to use pita with fallafel! |

Depends..... Tookie toast, Jesus toast, or Chuck Norris toast ? |

Looks like Old Painless is gonna have to go to the store for some Wonder, Bunny, Iron Kids, and Roman Meal(do they still make that?)!
The jail that I worked in a while back had rubber biscuits for breakfast that could have doubled as NHL approved hockey pucks........and I would bet they were bullet proof
You do know that RebelGray went to prison for divulging the exact same information?. Go outside. The CID, FBI, and ATF should be along any second. eta- Dammit! I hate when I get Pre-Duped. |

I'm going to the range tomorrow. Is there really anyone that truly believes that a loaf of bread will stop a round of .45 ACP JHP? |
FOX is reporting that Chuck Schumer wants bread to be licensed, and that only police should have bread.
This why i carry a electric bread slicer on me at all times.
I just have to be next to an electrical outlet to "Draw Down" |
GAAAKK!!!! I just horked some Milkey Way up my nose from laughing at this post!!!! |
Dumbass, you can have all of the preban flour you want, you just can't bake it into a loaf of bread. |
DEpends upon the size of the loaf. The old saying was there was no portable arm which could shoot through a bale of cotton. I'd say that's still true, even against .50BMG.
Unless it was registered before the bread ban - then you're good to go. Btw - love the new avatar ! |

Better do the Loaves of Truth, just in case |

No, but we eagerly await the carnage that is sure to ensue. |

If it will force you to blast some Roman Meal with a 1911 at distances of 10, 20, and 50 yards, I'll say yes, yes I believe it. |

Oh please, oh please, oh PLEASE! |

I can't believe this was such an unknown fact to people on this board. All you have to do is watch almost any Hollywood movie. Take the convenience store scene in "Grosse Pointe Blank" Bread stopped many a bullet, however the Cheese Puffs were especially effective bullet stoppers. Bags of popcorn were ineffective, but the best bullet stopper was a Slurpee, cherry I think
O_P If you are going to shoot a loaf of bread, please shoot a loaf of raw dough, too. If you have to get frozen dough at the store to shoot, send me the bill, I'll gladly reimburse you. [That would be a loaf or two, not a pickup load!] Don't nobody start shootin' no pies, however! |
