We just put our big screen and home theatre back together (had been down for about a year) and now we want to watch a movie tonight.

Any good stuff out there to rent?

There is an old Peter Sellers movie called "Being There". It is about an idiot becoming an advisor to the President. It is my favorite movie.

Excellent movies above, but if you haven't seen it yet. I would recommend Equilibrium. Same star as in Batman Begins.

The movie features unique action in the form of Gun-Kata's.  Not realistic but fun to watch.  The story is set in a facist future were all rights are outlawed including the ability to exhibit emotions.  The Authortarian regime believes that strong emotions are the cause of crime, war, etc.  So the best way to ensure peace is to remove the ability to feel from the populace.-assissted by the use of state mandated dosing of a behavior inhibitor.

If you like guns, karate, and swords fights theres no reason to not watch this sleeper.  First movie i've ever seen to have Beretta AR70's. Many other firearms too, including custom M92's.- the pistol whipping scene was sweet.
