There is a video. I just have to find it now. Story is a traveling carnie wanted to sell a few pygmy goats to a local farmer who raised regular goats and he didn't want them. So the idiot just released them on the street and left. I got flagged down by someone driving by and told me there were goats on that road running loose. Background on this farmer: convicted felon not allowed to own guns, a few months prior, his own goat got loose and he was trying to shoot it with a rifle. Sheriff's Deputies and our guys show up all trying to both (A) Deal with the farmer and (B) catch the goat. A deputy caught the goat a mile away and the farmer got arrested. So I thought the farmer was going to be out shooting again due to the goat being loose. I headed over there and within about 20 minutes there were no less than 15 officers and deputies on scene looking for the goats, chasing the goats, or just driving by to see what was happening. Took almost an hour but we caught 2 of the three goats and one got away. The farmer was 100% cooperative and said he had nothing to do with it, this time. |
