Well I was asked by my parents to email them a list of things I wanted for christmas, and they in turn emailed me their lists. I immediately went and ordered all the things they wanted, plus a couple extras. I spent about $1,200 getting them the things they needed, and like I said some extras that I know they needed and were cool little surprises.
I could only think of 5 things I wanted so I emailed some to my mother and father, hoping they could at the least get one or two of the items.
Troy flip up front and rear sights ~200.00
A Larue 9.0 FF rail ~ 270.00
A Larue low-profile gas block ~70.00
An Eagle backpack ~150.00
Well, I received all my christmas presents in the mail today from my father and it was nothing I asked for. It was about $180 worth of crap. A burris spotting scope that I don't need and never wanted since i use nice binoculars instead (he knew that), and a tipton rifle vise, which is worthless to me, and I have no idea why he would think an AR15 owner would need a still-rest slash vise thing.
Well the thing that bums me out is that I spent about $450.00 in AR15 parts for my dad, including a new FF rail, vert-grip, rail covers, cleaning supplies, targets, and some tools. And I help him day and night with the guns and computer shit.
I'm hoping my mom can pull through on some stuff I actually asked for or need... seeing as how I spent almost $800 on her needs.
Well, I just put this stuff up on eBay and earlier in the EE so hopefully I can get rid of it and buy something I actually need, or at the very least just get the stuff outta my house because my place is small and I have no closet room, garage room or any place to set things I don't already use and have space for. Yes it's that crammed... have a home office and all.
Normally I post emails like this AFTER christmas....
