I just graduated Infantry OSUT at Ft. Benning, too. I graduated with D co. 2/54 on 12/14/05. We were one of the last classes issued BDU's. Anyway, I report back to the 507th(?) in January to start Airborne school.

B 2/54 summer of 88/89 boy did that suck! it was like, Africa hot.

did you ever get to the B barracks? we painted a mural on the front wall of a drill sgt/bull dog looking thing- wondering if it was still threre...

I dont think. All I remember is seeing a bald eagle mural over there along with unit crests painted on all the support pillars. I really don't know as I was only in Bravo's CTA twice-once for DEFAC duty and again on graduation day when our CO double timed us through all the 2/54 Battalion CTA's singing," nananana..nananana..hey,heeey...goodbye."
