Zarqawi in custody, but they didn's know who he was and couldn't ID him so they let him go...They said this was last year.

Next CNN will report that we had Bin Laudin in custody but Bush said let him.

Uh huh

He was in custody some 5-6 years ago in Jordan I think.

If they didn't know who he was then, how do they know they had him then, now?

This is old news. It was reported last year when it happened.

What you are seeing here is the Commie News Network's feeble attempt to discredit the elections in Iraq and GWB. Never something positive or truthful from those asshats. No wonder Fox has better ratings.

Not that Fox is much better actually.

Yea CNN reports this about every 3 months like it is new news.

Wasn't that just before the big assault on Fallujah?

Hypocrites.

Is CNN inferring that perhaps Iraqi/American forces should hold terror suspects longer? Until identity can be absolutely, positively confirmed?

This is same news org. that runs stories nonstop that Gitmo terror suspects should be released ASAP.

Ain’t your fault…

You don’t think it is a coincidence CNN chose to rerun this story today. There is good news out of Iraq today so they had to dig up something old and negative to run.
