A guy in my platoon was named Richard Skinner.  I'm sure the drills had a great time with him.

I don't get why parents think it's a good think to come up with these stupid cute names.  Then they probably get all pissed when their kids get into fights, or wonder why their kids are so upset about being teased all the time.

I've met a Starr E. Knight.  WTF were her parents thinking?!?

MAJOR DICK.  The only thing more appropriate would have been the maiden name Cu**.

Who can forget Heller's character Major Major Major, who was also a major in the army.  I thought that was funny.
Anyway, it's kind of strange when parents do that to their children.  A friend of mine always wanted a Shelby Mustang, but couldn't get one.  So he named his youngest daughter Shelby.  Not too bad compared to others.
And lets not forget Dweezil and Moon Unit...

There was a guy in my town named Harry Ball.

He got sick.

Every week at church, we had to sit there with a straight face while some little old white-haired lady said "Let us pray for Harry Ball..."

It was almost a relief when he finally passed away so we didn't have to hear that and not laugh every week.
