Die Hard 2 specifically refers to a non-existent GLOCK 7 with many fictitious characteristics from the character John McClane portrayed by Bruce Willis:

That punk pulled a GLOCK 7 on me! You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. It doesn't show up on your airport X-ray machines, and it cost more than you make here in a month!

In fact, GLOCK pistols are made of polymer and steel, are made in Austria, are visible to X-ray equipment, and are not significantly more expensive than comparable firearms.

Hey, someone was fibbing.

Ok, this is kinda dicey but here goes.

The current favorable pistol is manufactured by Knight's Armament out of Florida. Reed Knight developed it himself. Its a called an RP or revolver pistol, if that makes any sense.

Anyway, its a revolver based on the Ruger GP100 but the similarities end there. It a suppressed pistol and before the armchair commandos chime in; YES, there is such a thing as a suppressed revolver. The ammo has a sleeve that expands over the gap following the "forcing-cone" .  It has a 30-cal 150-grain projectile in a 44-magnum case. Around the 30 cal projectile, there is a sleeve of synthetic "Ultem", a material which will expand when fired to cover the flash-gap.  The barrel is three inches long and the projectile impacts at about 1050fps.  The actual projectile is a very sharp, hand turned alloy.

The ammo is hand made and the empty cases ALWAYS are collected...so that others may not know the specifics of caliber and so forth.

Its good for 100 to 150 yeard shots and has a detachable stock and scope. The suppressor is permanently attached and like the Heckler MP5SD, is good for about 5000 rounds.

The catalog item # is Knight's Armament Revolver Pistol R-squared.

Do you really want to know the truth?  They are more likely to deploy a microbot flying robot the size of a housefly into an open window.  The microbot will have a titanium needle which can inject a powerful vasoconstrictor.  The microbot will fly into the window when the man is asleep, fly - guided by
remote operators, land on the man's shoulder, inject him (like a mosquito does), and fly back out the window.  The man will appear to have a heart attack.  Laugh if you wish.  Sandia is the one who perfected the devices, IIRC.
