Ok I know a few places to get German flecktarn gear and I'd like to get a full combat rig going. Does anyone know of a place with pics and/or a description of the current normal German combat gear set up (for normal army) is? Thanks.

I like fleck camo. I've already got a BoB in fleck camo, need clothing in it too. I was very interested when AIM started selling fleck camo'd holsters with their P-38's.

I think fleck is going to be my standard mil-camo pattern. Add some Realtree civvie camo for winter when everything changes color and I'm good.

Wow. They even have helmets, flak jackets, ceramic armor inserts, and level IIIA vests. The only downside to the IIIA armor is that it's UN blue.

The colors they chose for Flectar are just weird and bizzare. What were they thinking?

The pattern itself is good though.

I like flectar camo also, I've been looking at camo clothes and gear recently,
here's another site for some items,

www.ironwolfent.com/cgi-bin/quikstore.cgi?category=Clothing

danish flectar is also cool, they use german pattern and use 3 colors green, 60, black 31%, and light green, 9%, istead of 5 colors. and it seemsto blend really well.

in my opinion it blends well, the orange is good for fall or alot of other environments, browse through the gallery at the flectarn uk site.

Eh, I like the flecktarn pattern and colors. I prefer the German one over anyone elses also.

P.S. Barkley, thanks for that Iron Wolf site. Gonna have to buy that fleck cap.

Try WWW.Sportsmansguide.Com . Go to the government surplus category. I have bought used German flectar camo from them. Its in excellent condition and reasonably priced.

I really like their Tropical Flektarn.  There was a German ASW contingent on deck when I was in Africa, and they wore it.  If there was an inexpensive source stateside, I'd get a bunch.

Okay I just found a place that sells German fleck. flak vests for $60 in the States . Gonna have to pick one up in a couple weeks. Does anyone know some places to get some German gear in the US? All the places I've found are usually in England or Germany. I'm looking for some German Model 2000 combat boots, some flecktarn dual G36 mag pouches (not the ones that only hold 1 mag), a flecktarn holster that'll hold a pistol up to the size of a 1911, a flecktarn pistol mag pouch, and a flecktarn rucksack. Thanks for the help.

ETA: Also a German flecktarn canteen pouch

You might have better luck posting this in the Gear and Accessories forum.
