I went to the Osceola Free gun range to meet up with the FDCC guys (Florida Defensive Carbine Club).  There was a very nice guy there with a sweet Barrett M82.

After a few minutes of oogling it and showing interest in it, he asked me if I wanted to shoot it.  "Of course," I said, "Yes, but just once!"  To which he replied, "Please, shoot a few rounds" so I took 2 shots.

Long story short I LOVE THAT GUN and scope combo.

heres the video, (no sound unfortuately) and its kinda big (I need to edit it down to just the shot, too much lead time)

Later,

P.S. if this was your gun that I shot, please email me at the address on my web page!  Thanks again I really appreciated it!

Thanks for the edit mtnpatriot, hope you don't mind me using your link, if you do let me know and I'll delete it, and copy your image to my site.

Was just easier that way!

I got to shoot that bad boy too, I think I put about 5 rounds through it, what a rush.  The shock wave off it was tremendous, you could feel it on the other side of the range. McGuzzi (his screenname) was very nice and let almost anybody shoot that thing.

Does anyone know what scope was on that rifle.

It was absolutely crystal clear, and VERY bright.

Just wondering,

I think it was a Leupold, but I'm not sure.  I do know it was very expensive though based on what McGuzzi said.

I've never heard of a McGuzzi here, but there is a McUzi, he can probably be found at www.mcuzi.com for any questions.

The link is good, usually.  Verizon seems to suck a$$ for reliability.  I've tested it from several locations and sometimes it works, others it doesn't.  Anyway I was really impressed with that scope, didn't realize it was fixed power though.  It wasn't my rifle so I wasn't going to fool around with the scope.

Thanks again all for your responses!
