-In 1876, the Supreme Court ruled that the
CONSTITUTION did not grant a RIGHT to ARMS,-

This is what the anti gunners repeat over and over ad nauseam. They never tell us what else the SC ruled.

but like the rights to assembly and petition, THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS EXISTED LONG
BEFORE THE CONSTITUTION. "Neither is it in any
manner dependent upon that instrument for its
existence." (United States v. Cruikshank, 92 US
542, 543)

This is one of my favorites

-In, 1897, the Supreme Court ruled that the right to arms is "ANCIENT" and "FUNDAMENTAL" right, a right which was "INHERITED FROM OUR
ENGLISH ANCESTORS" and has existed "FROM TIME
IMMEMORIAL." Robertson v. Baldwin, (165 US 275)

Good one, Hangfire.  I copied and printed it because I know an anti who has spouted this before.  I will definitely show him this.
