I was just wondering if any owners of Simmons scopes ever had a problem eith the blue/green lens coatings "rubbing off?" I have never used anything except a lens cleaning cloth that came with a Leupold scope I used to own to clean the lenses, but I can tell that the coating is coming off in spots. Is this normal for all scopes, Simmons scopes only, or is it a problem with the scopes themselves? I have never had a complaint about Simmons scopes before having owned four of them now. They always perform well, have crisp, clear optics, and never fog, but if this is going to be a problem, I may have to switch to Leupold exclusively.
