Recently There have been alot of people on this forum wanting to cause trouble. I won't go into to names because I don't want this to turn into a personal attack on someone, but this kind of crap has to stop. There has been alot of Moderator bashing lately, why???? They make judgment calls based on the forums simple rules which you agreed to when you signed up. So why all the crying about threads being locked?

I have been against moderators for years in these type of forums. Oh they start out ok. But as they get used to wielding thier power of deletion they get more and more where they are removing any content they don't feel comfortable with. Many people post topics which are very important to them, they get squelched because some appointed thought policeman thinks thier opinion does not matter. Then they get more and more excited and try to express thier opinions, they get moderated more and more and finally can't take it any more and leave. Once this happens over and over again what do you thing a site is left with. Yep you guessed it nothing but Trolls who have nothing of value to add to a site.

I think the mods do a way better job on this forum than alot of people on here give them credit for. And for that I say thank you. As for me "trolling" for the admins. This is one of the few and far between forums that I enjoy and I just don't want all hell to break lose. I just support the mods and admins against "trolls".

Found some time to post here again? Looks like it, seems your tune hasn't changed either. More and more like a broken record.

But you simply keep forgetting that when you registered your username on this site you also agreed to the user conduct code on this site. It's an owners prerogative to set the rules in his own house.

Meaning your freedom of expression has it's limits. Wanna piss in the open, fine by me. Just don't do it in my backyard. It's the same here, Goatboy has set a number of rules.

In that respect, those that setup mcuzi.com did the smart thing. They wanted a site to do whatever the fuck they wanted to do and they went ahead and created it.

I find it funny that there are more Anti-Troll and Anti-Moderator threads and comments than there are locked topics or enforced rules...

Perhaps people need to change their dirty diapers?

The conduct rules are simple and the only change to them in recent days was the "anti CO" rule which states no bullshit fake ads.

Exactly...If it wasn't for the diversity on this forum, no one would hang out at this website. We would get the info we need on AR's and split. It is all the different thoughts and ideas of people that make this an interesting forum. If you dont like it, dont read it. Threads should be locked once they have GOTTEN out of hand. We'll soon argue that "it wasn't out of hand, just a few morons causing trouble", so it's a no win situation.

I'll give another foot or two of rope to hang yourselves and perhaps allow authors to lock their own threads as well (so they can lock their own topics when they feel the need (no unlocking though!))

The issue is, when it becomes a pissing contest or just about bashing each other, then its over. It can take one shitty post or it can take 15. Once we "THINK" the thread should be closed, then it will be. I apologize if this seems too extreme for you, but such is life. You're always welcome to restart the thread.

Perhaps we'll do a monthly "FLAME FEST" Thread where people can go totally nuts. (Within the rules of conduct mind you, and no over-the-top personal attacks) and relieve all this built up tension. Then we can have our outhouse parties without stinking up the house.
