This was a perfect example of a poll that needed the multiple answer option.  -dial-up, at home, @31200bps- I got a 15.7kbs and a "very slow" subjective rating on the speed test.  -DSL at work, where I'm basically the department IT hardware tech. |

Just be thankful most of you guys can get it where you live. I have highspeed here but when I visit my folks its back to 28k.

Yeah, got the DSL although I'd almost prefer cable. Unfortunately, Comcast doesn't provide for this neighborhood which is weird since they work the neighborhood just a little further down the street from us.
