He may be a RINO, but he will be an easy sell as far as presidential candidate.

RINO.  About like the one we have now.

They key issue for the Republicans in 08 will not be die hard party values, but electability.  Rudy is electable.  I would far prefer an electable Rino, to Hillary in the White House, again.

You are why the Republican party is now Socialist Lite, rather than conservative.

Instead of taking a chance to win, we'll simply do what the left wants anyways.

The sad thing is imagine Mccain winning the nomination and Guliani running as an independant against Hillery???

It would be 1993 all over again, Republican/Conservative votes split and Hillery becomes POTUS

Maybe Mccain and Guliani will get some Liberal votes, or maybe not.

Tough on certain things sure. He would probably make a good neighbor but not a President that this country needs in the times we are living in. IMHO.

Rudy for Prez Huh, of Libia maybe.

If it had to be a DEM for Prez. I nominate Zell Miller.

No.

You know, he is the reason that Hillary is a senator.

Hell of a lot better than McCain.  I've never forgiven him for killing McAbel.

IMHO he cant win in the primaries, remember that Mcain was the fair haired boy of the press and about 10 times more conservative than Rudy and he was still unacceptable to the conservate base.I think after 8 yrs of not having our boarders secured, that will be the main issuie in the republican primaries come next election. If somehow though he did get the nomination,I will vote liberitarian for pres, even if it means Hitlery in the whitehouseBesides wasnt the rise of the antichrist fortold in the book of revelations? To me that means she will win no matter who we vote for

Guliani makes sense on a few things. Those are important things.

On other important things, however, he is as liberal as Ted Kennedy.

The last thing we need is another "moderate" Republican president.

The question people need to ask themselves is what their answer would have been prior to 9/11. Personally, I don't think he's a good candidate for the job, but I'd beat feet to the polls and happily vote for him if it meant keeping Hillary out.

So does that mean Kerry (from Mass) will run and win this time around? Looks like we'd be due for another Mass-hole in the office... I shudder to think.
