Come on now. Give the French a break. After all they did win the French Revolutionary War ... but then again they were fighting the French.

Ok so we'd have traced the same historic-political path as Canada, Austrailia, New Zealand, and perhaps South Africa.

Not that bad when you consider the alternatives.

I'd rather be a subject of the Queen than a citizen of France any day.

Actually right now I would MUCH rather live in France than GB.

Take heart Dewoitine! French Army rations are the best you can eat… the US ones are vile! And French gun laws are some of the best in Europe…

And we British like you now, we are getting Thales to build our carriers, possibly including a sister ship for the French Navy… and our new anti aircraft missiles are French, the ASTER… far better than anything the Americans can design.

The did not always surrender, after being over run by Germans twice in the last hundred years any real men were killed off putting up a fight leaving only the fruity men to reproduce and teach the next generations.

why do you think the American Revolution turned out so well?
We didn't hate England - we were fighting because we were mad the English no longer considered us English.
The American Revolution turned out well because we had the English tradition of self-government.

The French Revolution was an abortion.
Revenge killings, banning religion, then ending up with an Emperor!
