There are so many I don't know where to begin. I would have liked to have seen Led Zeppelin around 1973, followed by:
Sex Pistols in late'77 or early '78 Black Flag around '83 when Henry Rollins did vocals Stevie Ray Vaughan The Police in '83 Hank Williams in 1951 or so U2 around '84 or '85 Van Halen (The REAL DEAL with Diamond Dave up front) .....those are just a few. I'm sure I could think of more. |

They broke up without any stress - it was just time. They'll be back in force one day thank God - because right now; rock sucks. |
Spike Jones and his City Slickers.
I was born 40 years too late. |
Beatles
Zeppelin Hendrix Dead Doors CCR Floyd BOC Canned Heat Jefferson Airplane I could go on and on with the help of google. |

I agree...though I have always thought Van Halen signing up Aguilera as their singer would make an interesting show. Seriously. |

Angus grew out of the schoolboy uniform...they're having one custom made! |

Zeppelin, no question.
For those wanting the Eagles or CCR, see Don Henly and Jon Fohgerty, they both still tour. They put on amazing shows and play all their old songs. |
I thought it was Sir Cumsize and his Four Skins... |
The remaining original Beach Boys. I wouldn't mind that they'd have replacements for Carl & Dennis.
Bob |
For all you EC fans, Cream has reunited and will be playing MSG in NY in October.
I thought it was Big Dick and the Extenders? |

Gotta be Zeppelin
The Who back in the days that Townshend was smashing shit. Skynyrd Pink Floyd, although I've seen them The Clash Sex Pistols |
