I hate it when that happens.

Now it's time for Excedren.

For some reason, that reminded me of a news-show that I saw a long time ago.  Somebody (I really cannot remember if it was a news broadcast or something along those lines), took an AK and shot a watermelon with it.   Then, to show how a "sporting rifle" did, took a Weatherby Mark V  and shot another watermelon, which pretty much disintergrated.

I remember that too, I was a real young kid when I saw it and didn't know about any kind of guns except crosmans, maybe tube-fed marlins but I  still remember it to this day everytime I hear about "high powered assault weapons" Where did I see it though???

raf,

The whole head snaps toward the school book depository building, not just a few pieces.  Also, this watermelon does not have a neck attached to a torso.

That would be something to show. Have an AR, an AK and a FAL each fire NATO rounds at a watermelon. Then use 3 common hunting rounds through bolt actions. Hollowpoint handgun rounds would be good also.

Ouch.  Those would be good frames for an animation. [frag]

wmmitty, I saw that one too. The took out various watermelons with 'assault rifles', making the little holes. Then they used a 30.06 and blowed it up real good.

Didn't he even have a few rounds lined up and said "This is what they want to ban" (holds up an AK47 round) "And this is what people hunt with" (30.06)  [?]

OH GOOD GRIEF. Why do we need to get analytical about such wonderful destruction. That piece of produce could have been used to feed starving third world children in my fields. I love death and destruction.
