Quoted: From my copy of the 'Owner's Manual' (also known as 'the Holy Bible'):
There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
And Jesus answering said unto them, se ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
The Gospel of Luke, Chapter 13, verses 1-5
From this we learn that bad things happen in this world, to both the righteous and the unrighteous, and that, as life is so haphazard, we are to constantly look to God for Our Salvation and Hope of Eternal Life.
God created gravity.
This, however, doesn't mean that when an 18 month old baby falls to its death from a 5th story balcony, that God willed that the infant die.
There is a physical world out there that is, at times, very dangerous, brutish, and unforgiving.
There is a God out there Who is always kind and benevolent, and eternally forgiving.
