"And I Ran", Flock of Seagulls. You can't top that hair. And A-Ha, of course.

Interesting but long and true story....to make it short, I sat and rode in that Ferrari just after he bought it. Very nice ride, I was a kid at the time. |
Wasn't Land of Confusion written after Peter Gabriel left Genesis? |

Beastie Boys "You've got to Fight For the Right" Styx "Too Much Time on My Hands" (though I'll never forgive them for "Mr Roboto") Lita Ford "Kiss Me Deadly" One of my favorites, though he is a one-hit wonder--Martin Briley, "Salt in My Tears" |

the Whitesnake video where Tawny Kitean's tit pops out of the green dress she's wearing...where's she's leaning out of the passenger window in the tunnel.
I had to tape it to prove it was there...then they edited the video. Unfortunately, I've subsequently lost the video....but I've got my memories. (well, for a little while longer anyways ) |

How did I miss this topic?
Too many to pick just one but a lot of greats listed here. But I'm gonna nominate "My Chauffer" by Duran Duran. The uneditted version of course. |
Samantha Fox. |
Actually the porn star used the identical spelling with one X. |
Nope. 70s porn star (American brunette) and 80s pop singer (British blond). Although Samantha the pop singer was a Page 3 Girl (topless model) in the UK that is hardly porn and it is about the same as regular cheesecake (non nudity) modeling in the US given the different standards of public nudity. |
Stand and Deliver, Adam Ant. Saw it once but still remember it. Most of the best already mentioned.
Is anyone on this site old enough to remember the old Spitting Image show? That was some funny stuff. It wasn't on for very long. I wonder if there are any DVD's of that show out there somewhere..... |
Yes, Foxx with two Xs. I guess it was supposed to make her sound extra sexxy. One of the only pop stars you could see naked while at the peak of her fame. I thought I heard a while back that the annoying Tiffany girl (she sang a remake of "I think we're alone now") posed for Playboy. |
I remember being quite fond of Ms. Phys-Ed in that video. |
That was the 90s. Not the 80s. And it was just plain terrible. |
Again, that was the 90s. Best videos/Songs of the 80s: Sledgehammer Land of confusion It's in the way that you use it Pretending After Midnight Forever Man WORST songs/videos of the 80s: Private Eyes Stop the world and melt with you We built this city Glory days Somebody's watching me Bad Love lift us up (I still gag when I hear that....) Everybody have fun tonight |
Not really. The album was released in 1990, which is technically the last year of the 1980's (1981-1990). Only computer geeks count from zero. |
How about these:
Eddie Grant - Electric avenue Stevie Nicks - Stand Back Glen Frey - Smugglers Blues Golden Earing - Twilight Zone Men at Work - Who can it be now |
I loathe that song.
Ah yes. The Glen Frey Miami Vice glory days.....Suddenly I have the urge to wear a pastel suit with the sleeves pushed up and wicker shoes....
Ah yes! The video that seemed specifically designed to make the lead singer of MAW as creepy-looking as possible...... |
Preach on brother BD, that woman ins the reason I'm currently married to a redhead.... |
... You know, if you avoid the rap crap and pop in an 80's CD once in a while you can still exist with no worries! |
I do it daily in most cases while others listen to that noise making crap..I make fun of the little woman listening to her beat music..I'll say what the heck is that shit ... aaahhh some Aerosmith...Sweeeeeeet Emotion ! |
