The fight on the 300 mph bullet train in The Hunted where Lord Takeda wipes out an entire cell of ninjas. The fight at the end of the scene has the windows blown out at 300 mph and a sword fight in an enclosed train car.

The best.

Racine : We were just killing time.
Takeda : Time does not die; only people.

#1.  By far the most brutal scene in any movie ........."Casino"  when Pesci and his bro get beaten with bats and buried alive.  I am surprised that no one has mentioned it yet.

#2.  They live

#3.  Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris........ broken limbs and all

And, the bank robbery/shootout scenes between DeNiro's crew and the police in "Heat."  Dude, talk about awesome sound effects and cinematography.

That kinda' reminds me of the brief fight scene in Blade Runner when Darryll Hannah tries to choke Harrison Ford between her legs, not to mention head slamming him a couple of times.  Of course, he turns around and shoots her when she comes back for more.

Bruce Lee taking the whole fucking school in "Chinese Connection" (released in HK as "Fists of Fury).

Itto in "Shogun Assassin" announcing that he has a "third choice." Rivers of blood doesn't even begin to address the carnage.

Joe Pesci returning the pen in "Casino."

And not really a beat down but Creasy "asking a few questions" in "Man on Fire" was just brutal.

Charles Bronson against "Curly" and the Pro from Chicago in "Hard Times".
I especially enjoyed the 3-4-3 combinations Bronson landed.

The "attempt" to beat up Robert Mitchem in the original "Cape Fear".

The beating Gene Hackman gave Jan Michael Vincent in "Bite The Bullet".

And one of my favorites, the beating George Segal and his mistress gave each other in "The St. Valentine's Day Massacre".

The fight between Sean Connery and Robert Shaw in the train car in "From Russia With Love".

Above post says the title for the charles bronson movie is hard times.

Charles bronson was a boxer in one of his early movies, he is more a street fighter as I recall but I don't know the name since I sold the dvd a while back.  He generally beats folks up in most of his movies, but this one was pretty good when he had to fight the "ringer" the other guys brought in.

Clint eastwood in The gauntlet has a good fight scene when of has to jump a train and winds up meeting up with 3 bikers he pissed off previously.

The one with demi moore is G.I. Jane.

I sort of want to mention the highlander movies but I can't recall just how good those fight scenes were since it has been 5+ years since I saw any of those movies.

I think the movie is roadhouse where patrick swayze is a bouncer and his mentor is an older guy who winds up fighting this huge guy.  That fight is pretty good.  Then again, I have not seen that movie in a long while either.

Epic (RTFQ) the Duke in "The Quiet Man"

How about the opposite the SHORTEST in cinema?  How about John Wayne vs Gerge Kennedy in "The Sons of Katie Elder."?  Tap him on the shoulder and then smack him right in the old kisser with a pick handle.   {Vin Scully} And those teeth are outa here."[/Vin Scully]

I liked the onboard fight in "The Deep"

Also one movie I could never get the name of has two guys duking it out for maybe 10 minutes at the end, on the edge of some (empty?) water reservoir.  I rented "Reservoir Dogs" to see if that was it, but "nope".
