I gotta ask: Did they give your boy back so you can carry him around in a locket?

No I asked, but they wouldn't let me keep it

That sucks ass!

Why wouldn't they let you keep it?

I'd have definitly wanted my boy to live in a jar of formaldahyde on my bookshelf.

Kooter:

Sorry you had TC, as I'm sure you know the upside is that is has a very high cure rate.

Compazine (prochlorperazine) has some funky side effects, kinda makes most folks feel drowsy, have hallucinations, generally not feel normal.  It is however VERY effective for radiation or chemo induced nausea, so you are kinda between a rock and a hard place.

You might ask your doc for a prescription for some Zofran 4mg tablets.  Take 1-2 every 6-8 hours for the nausea.  Zofran is very expensive but has almost no noticable side effects.  Also, Reglan (metoclopramide) tablets are another option, are pretty cheap and 5-10mg every 4-6 hours might work for your nausea.  Reglan will make you a little sleepy but nothing like the feeling that prochlorperazine gives you.

Hang in there! Don't be hesitant to ask your doctor or pharmacist for help with this situation, their job is to help you.  You are their boss, not the other way around.
