It;s not the number of your posts but the content posted.

Never understood the whole post count thing.  I'd rather accumulate money than a damn number under my name.

grasshopper,
it had been said long ago by wisemen long past  that it is not the quantity of one's posts that matter but their quality.
Also be it known that what is best in life is to crush your enemies, have them driven befor you and to hear the lamintations of the women.

only then can you obtain enlightment and enter valhalla.

Yep.  1K is a good number I think, but if it's all crap, it doesn't count.

I think that a minimum of 18 years and 1,453,990,059,399 posts would make you a respected veteran.

Show up at a regional event or shoot and you'll be instantly recognized.

I would pay money to see the reaction from some people if GoatBoy was to go in
and zero out everyone's post count.

Now THAT would be damn funny!

I used to be a member of the forums before the big software upgrade where everybody had to reregister and lost all their post counts. Finally got around to reregistering  when you couldn't
even get on the boards unless you could log in. To me it's not how many posts you have, it's how long a member you have been and how logical and informative your posts are. Losts of people do the "+1s"
and "IBTLs" to boost their posts.

When was the last big software upgrade that caused everyone to lose their post count? Maybe 5 years ago?

Two months before this I believe.

Here he does, well kind of.  But he sure takes a lot of shit in person at the SoCal Shoots.  Some of it undeserved.

Being a post whore helps.  Just use a lot of monosyllabic replies to every single topic that you see.  You can even use a period as a response if you're feeling especially lazy!

Seriously, being a newbie myself I think that if you are a paying member you can say whatever you want to and everybody else should STFU!

Newbies rock 'cause that means that AR15.com is havin' babies!!!!

Its not the number of posts its 1) how many ARs you own or 2) how inteligently you speak of the AR

It never ends. Even if you keep a good post record and establish yourself, someone will always eventually be by to talk shit. Not too long ago, I was acused of being an airsoft loving poser, despite high post count, team membership, an account 3 years old, and several pictures on this board of me in Iraq, because I posted asking if there was a cheaper way to mount a light than the use of rails, dedicated foreends, or small rail segments. Evidently, once there is an expensive way to do things, those who can't afford it are posers.

That's just sad

Unless you have Carpel Tunnel Syndrome from posting so much and so often you are a noob.

And just for the record, I have over 3,000 posts so far this year and I’m nowhere near the Kings of Arfcom.
