Have you looked into programs for getting a college degree??

I'm not talking about internet degrees or diploma mill stuff.

As long as you repay the program there is no shame in accepting a govt offer to better yourself. Unfortunately unless you are very intelligent or highly skilled to begin with (or rich, that hasn't been either of our problems) you need some credentials to get a better job in this specialized society.
