Edition Limit: 950 per branch U.S. Army U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Navy U.S. Air Force Plating: Hard Nickel Caliber: .223/5.56NATO Capacity: 20 rounds Barrel Length: 20" Overall Length: 39" Weight: 8lbs Semi-automatic Includes 2 magazines Lower is mirrored polish nickel plated with historical markings and service branch name and motto. Interesting about the 20 round mags. I thought everything was restricted to 10 now.

The other thing too.....it`s not a true m16, unless it`s demilled or something...have to read that ad again....more closely.....

probably pre-bans Personally I don't like these gold and silver plated "collectors" guns, as I shoot all the guns I buy and wouldn't want to shoot, and lessen the value of, these expensive "collector" editions

I'm thinking that a lot of pimps are really looking forward to being the home boy on their block to own such a fine collectable.

That's EXACTLY what I thought when I saw it. "Chrome-plated pimp gun." I like fine workmanship as much as the next guy, but I have NEVER understood gold-plating on a firearm, much less anything as gaudy as THIS thing.

$3500 for a post ban pimp gun that I'd be embarrased to take to the range. No thanks, I can buy 2 pre-bans and have enough left for a beta-C mag.
