Depends, as far as being a spectator, I don't care for too many of them .

But many of them (like football and baseball are fun to play).

Now every once in a while I can stand a night at the drag races. Just something about all that nitro-methane induced raw horsepower being turned loose that gets my heart pumping.

Sorry but you are wrong, the Japaneese already dominate the sport. Just watch the little 100 pound Japaneese guy eat close to 60 hot dogs in 15 minutes, the only American that has came close is an Asian woman who ate something like 30 or 40.

To all the anti-NASCAR folks, can you name one other 'pro' sport where the participants are all pretty much decent folks?
I can't think of any person in the current field of drivers who have criminal records., unlike football, baseball, or ghetto ball.

I think just about any of today’s sports are dumb. At least dumb to watch. If you participate in them that’s different. Setting around watching and fantasizing that you are doing its stupid as hell. Or idolizing some person that you know nothing about other than he is good at a sport you don’t even play seems pretty stupid also.

WWF wrestling. I like high school wrestling because i did it for 4 years but i think the WWF stuff is to fake and only good for a laugh.

I disagree. THe guys who do professional wrestling are in excellent shape, and pull off unbelivable moves in the ring now a days.
You have guys over 300lbs doing stuff that the luchidors used to do.

While I can see that NASCAR may be difficult for someone to watch who isn't into it, it is definitely more athletic than many of you seem to think.

I did the Richard Petty Driving school thing. The G forces in the high banks were much more than I expected. You'd go flying out the passenger side window if you weren't belted in. Man...when you finally get out of that car your legs and arms are like jelly.

The stupidest sport is any where no score is kept because it might hurt the loser's feelings. Or, where no one is allowed to be cut from the team because that would cripple their self esteem. Sports are competition, not at its finest, but competition never-the-less. In the US today, people are using these two new socialist concepts to ruin little league, pee wee football, and many other sports. And with this, they are ruining young Americans.

Any sport that requires "judging" to score - gymnastics, cheering, diving, synchronized swimming.

Auto racing - interesting spectacle to some. Sport? I don't think so.

Agreed it's not a sport, but it seems I can't turn on the cable box any more and see some "Ultimate Poker Championshit", "World Turd of Poker", "Poker Greats", etc etc. My tv viewing habits have changed dramatically this year, I tend to buy season sets of TV shows I missed and watch them at my leisure. Waiting for Fox "24" Season 4 come December.

Curling.

One person slides a heavy roundish block down the ice. 2 or 3 other loosers run in front of the block with brooms, sweeping or brushing in an attempt to "steer" the block to it's destination.

This was a huge Olympic event in the last winter Olympics, and got tons of air time. Wow, let me run right out and buy a team jersey.

Skydiving is the only sport I can think of where death is assured until you act (throw out the pilot chute), usually a mere 10 to 15 seconds before impact!
